About Us:

Delicate Graces is a very important part of the GBees family. Our insistence on family values, closeness and harmony extend beyond those we touch in our daily lives to include those we have been touched by. The inspiration for this venture came in 1998 after the passing of a great woman, my mother-in-law, Della.

As a remembrance, my father-in-law bought several memorial obituary bookmarks in her honor. Though I don't remember the company that made them, I do remember the workmanship. I believed my father-in-law had been taken advantage of in his most vulnerable moments. It was then that I made a promise to do better for those hurting souls bereft with grief.

As Delicate Graces has evolved from a promise to a workable business, I realized the importance of the many other strong women without whom I could not be the person I am today. This venture is dedicated to all of them.

Memorial Obituary Bookmarks:

Making Memorial Obituary Bookmarks our first product in Delicate Graces seems fitting. Whether you choose minimal personalization or a completely custom design, the utmost care will be taken to ensure that our finished 3" by 9" double-sided bookmarks meet with your approval. Choose from our standard verses, banners, and epitaphs, or enclose your own carefully worded sentiments. With a photo or without, on whichever heavenly background best portrays your loved one's personality or interests, the remembrance you create will be a welcome gift to your family. Heat sealed in clear plastic laminate, the exact obituary notice that appears in your newspaper will be forever preserved as a genealogical reference.

Milestone Bookmarks:

Any of our 3" by 9" double-sided bookmarks can be completely customized to commemorate other occasions. A new baby's picture and birth facts will make a beautiful birth announcement. A couple's photo and wedding invitation text will make a fantastic favor that wedding guests won't throw away. All of your milestones are important. Finished bookmarks are heat sealed in clear plastic laminate, preserving your moment for all posterity. As with all of our products, you may choose minimal personalization or completely custom design. Delicate Graces will do everything we can to lovingly cater to your special occasion needs.

Framable Prints:

Available in two sizes (5" by 7" or 8" by 10"), our personalized prints offer another way to share and display life's big moments. Whether you choose a simple "Name Meaning" print on a beautiful background or customize the print to include photos, favorite quotations, and other important information, the finished product will become a treasured keepsake. Un-framed prints can be heat-seal laminated for lasting protection. Framed prints will arrive encased in a beautifully curved and bevelled glass frame trimmed with gold and etched roses.

Because of space limitations, the smaller 5" by 7" prints must be limited to one name meaning or a combination of smaller photo and text choices. Larger 8" by 10" prints offer more design choices; two name meanings, combinations of photos, favorite poems, wedding invitation text, or birth facts. The details are entirely up to you!

The Delicate Graces Difference:

We want you to be 100% satisfied with the product we design with you. Delicate Graces uses only in-house designed backgrounds, not commercially available blanks to make our products. That gives us the flexibility to add photos without any background "bleed-through" and to use White or any light colored text you may want to include without affecting the finished piece. It also offers you the option of using your own artwork or photographs as a background (see "Using Your Own Art" below). High quality, pristine, white card stock and color laser printers assure a clear, crisp finished print.

Using Your Own Art:

Completely custom design can actually begin with your own artwork or photograph as a background image. There are parameters that must be met, but this usually doesn't present a problem. I won't use a photo of Mickey Mouse or Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s racecar unless you are physically in the photo. This violates trademark and copyright laws. Please keep this in mind if you decide to choose your own background. High quality digital or any print photos may be submitted for consideration. Photographs will be scanned and returned to you in their original condition. Additionally, I will never sell your design to anyone else without your express written permission. That is your right and privilege as owner of the picture.

Processing Your Order:

When we have received and reviewed your order, a proof of your project will be e-mailed to you. You can usually expect this within two business days of receipt of your order (please don't forget to include your e-mail address!). You can then request changes to the proof. If changes are requested, we will send you a revised proof as soon as possible. Once you have approved a proof, we will begin processing your order. This includes printing, assembly (if required), and shipment or delivery.

Your order will generally ship within 5-7 business days of final proof approval. Upon shipment, we will send you an e-mail notifying you that your order has shipped and any tracking information available. Shipping times and tracking availability depend on the shipping method that you choose.

Rush Orders:

In the event you need a "rush" order, please call us or e-mail us with your requirements, and we will make every effort to accommodate you.

Large Orders:

For very large orders (over 500 pieces) extra time may be needed to prepare your order. Please call us or e-mail us for an estimate of large order processing time.

Shipping:

Shipping is calulated on all orders using USPS rates. The cost is determined by the weight of your order, the location being shipped to, and the shipping method that you choose.

Privacy Policy:

Delicate Graces / GBees is dedicated to preserving the privacy of our family and our customers. We will not sell our lists to ANYONE under any circumstances. The goals we set will rely on word of mouth advertising and our own contacts to market our products. Your personal information will be used ONLY for the reasons that you contact us. We reserve the right to send you the occasional e-mail about new products or new babies, whichever you've expressed an interest in, but we will also respect your wish to be excluded from any part of our effort.
